The B.Tech program in Automobile engineering deals with the study of various engines and their construction, electrical systems, alternate fuels, safety, economics and quality of an automobile. For a better learning experience, students are exposed to case studies and problem-based learning, brainstorming, written tests, computer simulation, group discussions, industrial training seminars and projects.

The Indian economy is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Every country is dependent on its industries, with the growth of the automobile industry in the last few years India has become an automobile manufacturing hub for most of the foreign automobile companies. Since the auto industry has become a potential market for global giants it has created a demand for ample job opportunities for Indians both directly and indirectly. India is a home to many Indian and international automobile companies.

  • Our Students function successfully as a typical professional in this field spends a lot of time on researching and designing both systems and machines for automobiles. The designs are initially done in the form of drawings and blueprints.
  • Graduates are prepared for advanced education in Automobile Engineering and related fields.

Students take a common core of Automobile Engineering courses, and they can specialize in the areas of Production Technology, Environmental Science and Engineering, Applied Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Machinery, Mechanics of Machines, Fuels and Lubricants, Automotive Diesel engines, Automotive Engine Components, Automotive Electrical systems, Automotive Transmission, Automotive Materials and Metallurgy, Automotive pollution and control, Manufacturing Processes, Quality Control and Reliability Engineering etc ‘
