“Start Strengthen Succeed”
A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a set of written instructions that describes the regularly recurring activity which is followed by stakeholder in an organization.
The SOPs are developed and used by the employees of Modern Group of Colleges for the successful quality system.
The purpose of Modern Group of Colleges is to carry out the activities correctly and always in the same manner through SOPs.
SOP specifies the processes used to manage SOP’s. This includes creation, training, review, modification and archiving of SOP’s. It should be detailed enough so that the intended user can recognize what the document covers
A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) helps the employees of the Modern Group of Colleges to operationalize documents such as plans, regulation, compliance, and policies.
SOP lists all the tasks that are essential for that procedure, how to do these tasks, and who is responsible for the tasks listed.
A SOP should be available at the place where the work is done. The original SOP should rest at a secure place while working copies should be authenticated with stamps and/or signatures of authorized persons.
A well-written and researched SOP can be a lifeline for the new employees of the Modern Group of Colleges to be able to know how things work. It’s a great time-saver and confidence booster for the new employees. By referring to the SOP new employees can take over the urgent tasks and do them correctly the first time.
The SOP makes it easy for the employees to find out what policies and procedures are in place to handle repetitive situations/tasks. SOP’s are periodically evaluated by the employees and only officially issued copies are used.
